Analog Appeal
Sometimes flaws make things more interesting.
Or maybe flaw isn't the right word.
A phenomenon first observed as a problem becomes the characteristic that makes that thing unique.
In the digital age images are perfectly replicated over and over again with a cold precision. Perhaps the appeal of analog instant photography is the inexactness of the image itself: like the very event you're capturing; a solitary moment in time with qualities that can never be exactly duplicated. Maybe the emulsion was past its due date, or your hand quivered when the shutter closed but it was the last film.
Anyway, I like it. These apps are the results of my noodlings. Enjoy them.
